I'm gonna show a better picture of my collection soon Mundo- that bookcase you see can hold 234
games and I'm going to get another exactly the same so then I'll have room for the full collection!
Congrats. You got yourself your first fan - my first videogame system was the Megadrive as well. I bought it right when it first got released in Spain, circa 1990, just as you. I couldn't get my hands off of Sonic, Streets of Rage, After Burner II, Mickey Mouse's Fantasia, etc.
Oddly enough, after purchasing the Megadrive I didn't play or bought any other machine again... for 16 years!!! Until I got PS2 Slim by the end of 2008. Now I get my kicks with PS3. Looking for Heavy Rain this month :)
Don't you have a bigger pic for the front page of this collection? It's difficult to tell any details right now :p
Cheers mate! The Mega Drive was such a great console, it's a pleasure collecting games for it now! So many memories.
That's a long gap between Mega Drive and PS2! Did you never play the PS1? Final Fantasy VII- what a game!
I've got a PS3 also, bought Bioshock 2 on Tuesday- great game. I've also pre-ordered the Heavy Rain Special Edition- I've been waiting for that game since 2006! I loved Fahrenheit on the PS2 by the same developer.
When I get my camera working I'll take some better pictures for the website.
Oh and quick question mate- I've added 2 games into my Mega Drive collection by mistake, is there any way that I can delete them?
Go to your collection main page:
http://www.nakoko.com/colecciones/my-japanese-sega-mega-drive-collection_440
Click on the right tab, "The items (127)"
Now you're looking at all of your items added in thumbnail mode. You must click the "List items" icon that's just next to the tabs.
When you see your items listed by text, you can select those you want to erase (or copy to another collection of yours) and press the red icon "Delete".
Heavy Rain was the only game from last August's Gamescon that I couldn't sneak into the press conference :( I was lucky enough to get press access and speak with developers and producers from around the world - Tim Schaffer & Hideo Kojima amongst others... I even saw Tony Hawk for a mere second at the Activision cafeteria until his bodyguards decided that the place was too crowded with journalists and took him away from the crowd XD
That's a good collection for sure. MD is one of the best systems period. You choosed well.
ResponderFollowing!
BTW I think you'll need a new shelving soon :)
